KEOKI BREWING COMPANY is a small brewery located on the Garden Island of Kauai, Hawaii. Brewing of Hawaii beer began in 1998 with a 15 bbl brew house and 30 bbl fermenters. Several brewers were hired to brew the island style beer, but the lure of the tropics is not for everyone.
George Wells, owner of the brewery, with a background in real estate development and commercial construction, became the brewer in 2001. Jan Formato Wells, with a background in teaching and law, became a partner in the business in 2000. She is now the marketing person, also known as the “beer lady”.
The main beers produced are: Kauai Gold and Kauai Sunset. In addition, several proprietary beers are made for local establishments and two beers for export to Japan.
The type of beer produced is not intended to mirror any particular beer style but is uniquely designed for the tropical island climatelots of flavor but easy to drink with a smooth finish. The closest beer style to the Kauai beers is the old country beers of Germany. The beer was initially brewed with all German ingredients but in January 2001, the ingredients were changed to all US ingredients.
Kauai GoldBottled
The Kauai Gold is an all-natural island beer. A medium bodied beer, pale golden in color with a soft, delicate aroma, crisp and complex palate. Each well-balanced sip calls for another.
Kauai SunsetBottled
With all-natural ingredients, the Kauai Sunset's mahogany color hints at it's subtle balance of delicious, rich flavors. A slight roasted malt taste and good hop aroma gives this Hawaii beer a bittersweet chocolate complexity and a velvet-like body with a quaffable character.

This product starts off as a crisp, refreshing island style beer, then pure mango is added to create a rich aroma and subtle mango flavor.
Hawaiian Sunset Pink BeerExported
The slightly reddish hue is a fitting introduction to this lively, fun, and refreshing beer. The flavor is drawn from the fine pilsen malt with a dash of a light carmel malt, finished with the bold but mild hop curtain call.
All of Kona Brewing Company's handcrafted ales and lagers are tapped up at the brewpub in Kailua-Kona on Hawaii's Big Island. Fire Rock Pale Ale, Longboard Lager, Big Wave Golden Ale and other specialty brews also are served in fine markets and restaurants throughout Hawaii, California and Japan.
Pale gold in color, Big Wave Golden Ale is the perfect introduction to the Kona brand. It is a light to medium bodied ale with a delicate hop aroma and subtle fruity flavor.
A crisp and moderately hopped pale lager, Longboard Lager is aged for five weeks at very cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor.
A medium to full-bodied "Hawaiian Style" pale ale, Fire Rock has a deep copper color and a crisp, pronounced hop flavor and aroma.

The lightest of our beers, Duke's is pale straw in color, with a light, crisp and refreshing flavor balanced by its subtle hop character.
This full-bodied beer is deep red in color with a malty sweetness. The subtle hint of chocolate malt flavor is balanced by a unique blend of Pacific Northwest and European hop varieties.
A full-bodied, traditional I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.
Smooth and dark with moderate to strong roasted and chocolate malt flavor and aroma, the full malt flavor of this beer is complemented by our distinctive blend of hops.
Medium to full-bodied with a pronounced banana/herbal flavor and aroma. This beer's unique flavor profile is a result of the special type of Bavarian yeast strain used to brew the beer.

Magoos
With more than 120 beers on tap, Magoo’s at Pucks Alley on University Avenue is Mecca for beer lovers. Monday Night Football brings in a crowd, and there are more than 100 tables to accommodate them. Magoo’s Monday Night Football is sponsored by Coors Light, so chances are you’ll score a t-shirt, key chain, or better yet, a pitcher. Magoo’s also serves Coors Light by the mug for eighty cents! throughout the entire game. $.80! That’s even cheaper than buying it at the store.
Let’s talk about pitchers. All 120 selections are only $5 - $7. Mugs of each are $1.25, so feel free to try them all! The football game is shown on eight televisions throughout the bar, with opposing fans sitting on opposite sides. Magoo’s pizza is really tasty…or maybe that’s the beer talking. Either way, the baby pizza starts off at $5.50 and the giant is $18.
